PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Bay Machine and Fabrication was tasked with fabricating 40’ long test stands capable of high rotational loads, fabricated on wheels to facilitate movement. The main structure was W40x199 beams with stiffeners and mounting tubes to accept steel towers. All mating flanges were highly machined surfaces to accept the adjoining components.
PROJECT DETAILS
Finish: All steel surfaces were sandblasted to a SSPC SP-6 surface preparation. Upon completion of preparation, all steel was coated with two coats of International Paints Anti-Corrosive 300V Epoxy paint in alternating colors, followed by a topcoat in International Paints 990HS Polyurethane.
